Filing and Paying Electronically

WebFile is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It saves taxpayers and the state of Texas time, money and paper, and meets state requirements to electronically file reports and submit payments to the Comptroller's office. Learn who is required to file and pay electronically.

TEXNET – Electronic Payment Network

Taxpayers who paid $100,000 or more in taxes are required to submit their payment through TEXNET. Enroll in TEXNET, the State of Texas Financial Network, to transfer payment directly to the Comptroller's office through ACH debit or ACH credit.

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
