How the Smart Forms Work

Our new smart .PDF format offers a dynamic way to complete your franchise tax forms with built-in calculations to reduce errors and speed processing. The system initially presents all possible forms for the filing type you have selected. As you electronically enter data in the fields, forms that are not applicable will be withdrawn.

What You Need (System Requirements)

To open, complete and print forms in our smart .PDF format, you need version 8.1.1 or above of Adobe Reader software installed on your computer.

You can download the most recent version of Adobe Reader for free. If needed, see our FAQs for detailed system requirements.
