1/6 of 1% (.001667) of gross receipts from rates charged to the ultimate customers in Texas.

Due Date

Yearly: August 15, for report period of July 1 of prior year through June 30 of current year. Quarterly, by election: 15th of August, November, February and May.

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
