Property Tax Assistance Division Webinars
Taxpayers and practitioners are invited to participate in an upcoming webinar hosted by the Texas Comptroller's office. Participants must register in advance. Registration is limited to 1,000.
Continuing education (CE) credit is available in the amount listed with the course description for each webinar. In order to receive CE credit, attendees may either register individually or as a group. Electronic attendance reports are used in determining and reporting CE credit to TDLR. Registrants must attend at least 75 percent of the webinar to receive CE credit. The question period after the end of the webinar does not count in a determination of whether or not an attendee has completed sufficient credit time (75 percent of the total content minutes).
To register as an individual:
The attendee must register with his or her TDLR number and separately log on and off for the webinar so that attendance can be verified electronically.
To register a group:
One attendee must register with the email address that will be used to log on and broadcast the webinar. Additional attendees who view the webinar but do not log on must complete the Form to Claim Certain Group Webinar Continuing Education Credits (PDF, 166KB) after completing the webinar. Attendance must be attested to and the form must be signed by the Chief Appraiser, Tax Assessor/Collector or a designee. Submit the completed form to the Property Tax Assistance Division at the contact information below for attendees to receive credit after completing the webinar.

In alignment with TDLR rules, CE credit will be given only once per year per topic. Participating in multiple formats of the same topic more than once will not earn double credit.

The audio portion of the webinars is now available through Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Participants wishing to connect to audio using VoIP will need a fast Internet connection, a microphone and speakers (USB headset is recommended).
