Texas Property Tax Laws 2004The Texas Comptroller’s Property Tax Division (PTD) has published the 2004 edition of the Texas Property Tax Laws. It contains selected Texas Constitution sections dealing with property taxes, civil statutes on property taxation and administration, the Texas Comptroller property tax rules and a listing of adopted or prescribed Texas Comptroller forms.
The 2004 Law’s price is $8. Each appraisal district, county, city, school district and special district may receive one free copy. The PTD mailed appraisal districts and county tax offices their free copy. Cities, school districts and special districts may use e-mail to request their free copy.
