Property Tax Legal Seminar
16th Annual Seminar Set in San AntonioRendition penalties and public school finance will be two topics at the 16th Annual Legal Seminar on Ad Valorem Taxation August 28 - 30, 2002 at the San Antonio Hyatt Regency Riverwalk Hotel.
Appraisal-related topics include taxable leasehold issues, taxing unit challenges and business enterprise value versus property’s fair market value.
Seminar speakers will be attorneys from major Texas law firms and other professionals in the property tax field.
The seminar is jointly sponsored by the State Bar of Texas Committee on Ad Valorem Taxation and the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University. The following groups are being asked to grant education credit for attending:
State Bar of Texas (MCLE),The seminar costs $285 for those who pre-register and $315 for those registering at the door. A reception will be held on the evening of August 28, and the seminar program begins on August 29 and concludes at noon on August 30. Seminar space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
