Proposed Constitutional Amendments
4 of 19 Amendments Address Property TaxesOn Tuesday, November 6, Texas voters will decide on 19 constitutional amendments proposed by the 77th Texas Legislature. Of these 19, four amendments address some area of property taxation. The four property tax propositions include:
Proposition Topic 3 Authorizing ad valorem tax exemption for raw cocoa and green coffee held in Harris County 10 Authorizing ad valorem tax exemption for goods in transit 12 Eliminating duplicative and obsolete provisions from the Constitution 14 Authorizing ad valorem tax exemption for travel trailers More about these four constitutional amendments will appear in the October STATEMENT.
