2010 Methods and Assistance Program (MAP) Reviews
The Methods and Assistance Program Reviews of the appraisal districts below were completed in 2010. All appraisal districts implemented recommendations in their reports by January 2012, except those appraisal districts marked with an asterisk (*). Appraisal districts that completed their recommendations received written confirmations of compliance with Tax Code Section 5.102.
The eight 2010 appraisal districts identified with an asterisk (*) were referred to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) as required by Tax Code Section 5.102. TDLR gave each appraisal district one year to substantially implement the outstanding recommendations. TDLR completed its assessment earlier this year and notified the appraisal districts of its findings in the letters linked below:
