Electronic Property Transaction Submission Information
At the time of submission we require each chief appraiser to verify that the file contains all known property transactions in the CAD. We are requesting individual files or zipped files. Do not transfer folders to the ftp site. Please use the Media Information and Certification Form (MICF), which is available in the EPTS manual. When filling out the MICF, please provide a description of your abbreviations of deed types, as these vary by CAD. Please note that it is very important that you submit the most recent appraised value on the appraisal roll for the property in the transaction, whether it has been certified or not.
We receive both property transaction and appraisal roll files on this site, so please use the following naming convention to differentiate EPTS data: XXXEPTSMMYY.txt. ‘XXX’ represents the CAD Number, ‘MM’ represents the submission month, and ‘YY’, the submission year. For example: 001EPTS0210.txt represents a property transaction submission from Anderson CAD.
