Rates

Horse and Greyhound

  • 1% for live pools in excess of $100 million but less than $200 million
  • 2% for live pools in excess of $200 million but less than $300 million
  • 3% for live pools in excess of $300 million but less than $400 million
  • 4% for live pools in excess of $400 million but less than $500 million
  • 5% for live pools in excess of $500 million

Simulcast:

  • 1% same species simulcast pools
  • 1.25% cross species simulcast pools

Due Date

Reports must be received by the Comptroller by the end of the next business day following a race performance.

Not at this time.

Required Plug-ins

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
