Texas State Expenditures by County 2003

I am pleased to deliver the Texas State Expenditures by County 2003 report to you.

This report lists state expenditures by agency for each county and for the 24 Council of Government Regions. The report was compiled from accounting data generated by the Uniform Statewide Accounting System. For certain expenditures, the Comptroller’s office used information provided by individual state agencies to estimate the distribution of specific types of expenditures to the counties. The introductory section of the report includes an explanation of this estimation method and a listing of the categories of expenditures affected.
