I am pleased to deliver to you the 2001 State Expenditures by County report.
This report contains a listing of state expenditures by agency for each county and for the 24 Council of Government Regions. The report is compiled from accounting data generated primarily by the Uniform Statewide Accounting System. For some expenditures, information provided by individual state agencies was used to estimate the distribution of specific types of expenditures to the counties. The introductory section of the report contains an explanation of this estimation method and a listing of the categories of expenditures affected.
