Professional Mail Management Organizations

Mail Systems Management Association (MSMA), Central Texas Chapter

MSMA provides a framework for the advancement of professionalism within the mail systems industry. The Central Texas Chapter of MSMA fulfills this mission through education, certification, representation and recognition. Austin Postal Customer Council (PCC)

The mission of the Austin PCC is to foster and maintain a close working relationship among mailers, vendors, and the USPS; to share information about new and existing USPS products, programs, regulations, and procedures; to facilitate the interchange of ideas among mailers, vendors, and USPS officials; to help members and their organizations grow and develop professionally through focused educational programs; to promote cooperation and support between members and others who are dedicated to quality and efficiency in the mailing industry.

Networking -Meet with other businesses that use the mail, mailing experts, vendors from the mailing industry, and the Postal Service.

Information -Get valuable information you can put to work. See how the PCC is helping businesses like yours be more productive.

Communications -Communicate with mailers from your PCC or other PCC's for insights into marketing, mail processing, delivery and mail center management.

Education -Learn how the Postal Service can help your business become more profitable. Find out what educational opportunities exist through your PCC and the National Postal Forum. Learn about the latest developments in postal rules, procedures, products, rates and services from the best mailing industry speakers.

The PCC conducts monthly meetings, usually at the Austin Processing and Distribution Center, 8224 Cross Park Drive, Austin, TX 78710. Meetings and events are announced on the PCC web site at http://www.austin-pcc.org/index.htm. Membership fee is $90 per person annually.

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
