Major Upper East Texas Aquifers
The Upper East Texas region sits above two major aquifers: Carrizo-Wilcox and Trinity.
The Carrizo-Wilcox has two parts:
The outcrop is a portion of a water-bearing rock unit exposed at the land surface.
The subcrop is a portion of a water-bearing rock unit existing below other rock units.
