Upper East Texas Metro Counties
There are six metropolitan counties in the upper east region.
- Bowie County has Boston as its county seat.
- Delta County has Cooper as its county seat.
- Gregg County has Longview as its county seat.
- Rusk County has Henderson as its county seat.
- Smith County has Tyler as its county seat.
- Upshur County has Gilmer as its county seat.
