High Plains Metro Counties
There are six metropolitan counties in the High Plains Region.
- Potter County has Amarillo as its county seat.
- Carson County has Panhandle as its county seat.
- Randall County has Canyon as its county seat.
- Armstrong County has Claude as its county seat.
- Lubbock County has Lubbock as its county seat.
- Crosby County has Crosbyton as its county seat.
