Central Texas Metro Counties
There are seven metropolitan counties in the Central Texas Region.
- Bell County has Belton as its county seat.
- Brazos County has Bryan as its county seat.
- Burleson County has Caldwell as its county seat.
- Coryell County has Gatesville as its county seat.
- Lampasas County has Lampasas as its county seat.
- McLennan County has Waco as its county seat.
- Robertson County has Franklin as its county seat.
The other thirteen counties are:
- Bosque County with Meridian as its county seat.
- Falls County with Marlin as its county seat.
- Freestone County with Fairfield as its county seat.
- Grimes County with Anderson as its county seat.
- Hamilton County with Hamilton as its county seat.
- Hill County with Hillsboro as its county seat.
- Leon County with Centerville as its county seat.
- Limestone County with Groesbeck as its county seat.
- Madison County with Madisonville as its county seat.
- Milam County with Cameron as its county seat.
- Mills County with Goldthwaite as its county seat.
- San Saba County with San Saba as its county seat.
