Edwards Aquifer
The map in this exhibit highlights the Edwards Balcones Fault Zone (BFZ) aquifer, also known simply as the Edwards Aquifer. The map indicates the aquifer’s drainage, recharge and artesian zones. The map also delineates the political boundaries of the Edwards Aquifer Authority within the Alamo region, in Medina, Bexar, Comal and Guadalupe counties.
