Schematic of a Coal-Fired Steam Turbine
Exhibit 7-6 is a schematic of a coal-fired steam turbine.
Coal is burned, heating water into steam, which powers a turbine. The turbine connects to a generator which creates electricity.
The steam goes into a condenser, which turns it back into water.
