Federal Quarterly Report Data

Prime recipients of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding were required to report to the federal government on a quarterly basis detailed information on the projects and activities supported by the Recovery Act. These reports were mandated by Section 1512 of the Recovery Act. Only certain federal programs, as determined by the Office of Management and Budget (see Supplement 1: List of Programs Subject to ARRA Section 1512 Recipient Reporting (PDF, 127KB), were subject to having a report submitted. Generally, entitlements or other mandatory programs, certain loan guarantees, and awards to individuals did not require Section 1512 reports.

Section 627 of the federal Fiscal Year 2014 Omnibus Spending Bill repealed the Section 1512 reporting as of February 1, 2014. The 4th quarter 2013 reports were the last Section 1512 reports.

Cumulative ARRA Section 1512 Summary Information
The file below shows summary information of all Section 1512 data as reported by state agencies and public institutions of higher education. This file will include the final reports and the last quarter's data to provide an overall cumulative view of ARRA activity for state agencies and public institutions of higher education. No jobs information was included, as that information was quarterly based and information for this overall perspective would not provide meaningful data since it may cover multiple reporting periods.

Additional Section 1512 information for the State of Texas may be viewed at Recovery.gov. If you have questions concerning a state agency's specific ARRA activity, you may contact the submitting state agency's open records department to seek additional information.
