The Comptroller's office has compiled information, links and dollar amounts for potential funding opportunities in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Funding opportunities include competitive grants, grants distributed through preexisting formulas and loan programs. Where possible, we have indicated the amounts available in Texas. Information is subject to change.

Federal - Direct grants to the non-profit art sector to provide financial support due to declining philanthropic contributions and for arts projects which preserve jobs. Of the $50 million for this program, 40 percent goes to state arts agencies and regional arts organizations, and 60 percent is for competitively selected arts projects. State match waived. In order to be eligible for this program, an entity must have received grants from the NEA between 2006 and 2009.
