In compliance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Title 10, Subtitle D, Section 2155.074, Section 2155.075, Section 2156.007, Section 2157.003 and Section 2157.125, and Texas Administrative Code, Title 1, Chapter 113.6, information obtained from the Texas Procurement and Support Services's Vendor Performance Tracking System may be used in evaluating responses to solicitations for goods and services to determine the best value for the state.

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
