Contractors Offer Options for State, CO-OP Travelers

The Strategic Sourcing Division negotiated two contracts to provide reservation and ticketing services for airlines, rail and bus travel, rental cars, and hotels to meet the specific needs of travelers from state agencies, institutions of higher education and eligible State of Texas Cooperative Purchasing Program members.

Improvements over the previous contract include:

  • more user-friendly online booking tools;
  • higher service level requirements that can be measured;
  • more competitive pricing for itineraries booked using online booking tools; and
  • robust reporting tools to verify compliance with statewide travel guidelines.
