“Non-Standard” Parcel Delivery Services - Awarded

New Contract Archives Greater Savings

Agencies and State of Texas Co-op members that wish to take advantage of reduced rates on specific types of parcels and flats (specifically: Standard Flats; Machinable Parcels; Bound Printed Materials; Irregular Parcels; and Media Mail) should consider utilizing the “Non-Standard” Parcel Delivery Contract. Under the Contract, parcels can be picked up at the utilizing agency or at an agency vendor’s location (e.g. a print services provider). Delivery of the parcels is made by United States Postal Service.

Strategic Sourcing Division retained the majority of the prices established in 2008 during the re-bid the 915-M2 contract in 2012. The re-bid of the Contract also resulted in lower prices for Bound Printed Material and the consolidation of services under a single provider.
