Digital Imaging Services Re-Bid

The Strategic Sourcing Division and Council on Competitive Government are re-bidding the Digital Imaging Services Contract that was awarded in 2011. The current contract is allowing the State agencies and CO-OP members to procure digital imaging services for their current and historical documents at competitive rates.

Utilizing a new competitive request for proposals solicitation will produce the best values for the State. Specifically, this process will:

  1. Utilize the State's purchasing power to procure best possible price
  2. Obtain state of the art digital imaging features and
  3. Secure best in class customer service.

The Strategic Sourcing Division has met with the major stakeholders for their suggestions. The Division issued a Request for Proposals solicitation on April 23, 2014. The final contact award is scheduled for July with the services to begin September 2014.

Required Plug-ins

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
