Section 1

1.1   DESCRIPTION: 840-A1  Tapes, Video

1.2   TYPE:  Automated Discount-From-List


1.4   DELIVERY:  15 days after receipt of order (ARO)

1.5   MINIMUM ORDER:  None

1.6   SPOT PURCHASE OPTION:  Not Applicable

1.7   ZONE:  This is a statewide contract.

1.8   SHIPPING INFORMATION:  F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid and allowed for
      orders totaling $100.00 or more.

      Orders totaling less than $100.00, freight is added as a separate line item
      on the invoice.

1.9   WARRANTY:  Guarantee that the video tape offered is free from defects in
      design and construction and agree to replace without cost during the 12
      months from date of delivery.  Warranty shall cover materials and labor.
      Vendor is to provide warranty service within 14 calendar days after
      receipt of defective tape.

1.10  CASH DISCOUNT:  Applicable cash discounts, if available, are identified in
      line item descriptions.

1.11  EDUCATIONAL DISCOUNT:  Applicable educational discounts, if available, are
      identified in line item descriptions.


1.15  BLANKET ORDER FUNDING OUT:  Any blanket purchase order (an order calling for
      multiple deliveries over a specified period of time) is contingent upon the
      continued availability of appropriations.

1.19  PURCHASE ORDERS:  Only contract purchase orders issued by the Texas
      Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) or orders issued through a CPA
      contract are eligible for contract pricing.

1.20  COMMODITY CODE CONVERSION:  In order to facilitate with the CPAs conversion
      to the NIGP commodity codes, the commodity code numbers for items on this
      contract may change at some point during the term of the contract.  The
      specification, price, and other terms of the contract will remain the same.

Section 2 - Special Requirements

2.1   840-40-18 - BROADCAST GRADE
      VHS 1/2" tapes made by Maxell provide consistent quality for recording,
      editing and duplication.  Designed for gneeral-purpose use and tested for
      frequency response, output uniformity and tensile strength.

      Tapes are available individually wrapped in chipboard sleeve with set of
      labels - 30, 60 and 120 min. lengths;
      or in plastic album with labels - 30, 60 and 120 min. lengths.

      20 tapes per carton.  Packaged with recycled materials.

2.2   840-40-34 PROFESSIONAL GRADE:

      VHS 1/2" tapes made by Maxell.  Tapes are manufactured to deliver high
      quality picture and sound reproduction.

      Tapes are available individually shrink-wrapped in chipboard sleeve with
      set of labels - 30, 60, 90, 120 and 160 min. lengths;
      or in bulk; wrapped 10 per package with no sleeves or labels - 30, 60 and
      120 min. lengths. Packaged with recycled materials.
