Texas Comptroller to Visit New Braunfels High School to Commend District’s FAST Results

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs will release the new interactive Financial Allocation Study for Texas (FAST) website Wednesday, Feb. 26.

In an effort to showcase districts that performed well in the 2013 study, Combs will visit New Braunfels High School, located at 2551 Loop 337 in New Braunfels, on Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. The New Braunfels school district is one of 55 districts across the state that earned the highest rating of five stars, indicating success in combining cost-effective spending with the achievement of measurable student academic progress.

Media are welcome to attend the event as Combs commends this district on its commitment to avoiding costs and improving student achievement through smart practices in facilities, business services, staffing, technology and student services.
