Texas Franchise Tax Extended Due Date Coming Soon

(AUSTIN) —Businesses that requested an extension of time to file Texas franchise tax have until Monday, Nov. 16, to file 2009 franchise tax reports. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs urges taxpayers with last-minute questions to look for answers online before picking up the phone.

“The taxpayer assistance lines are very busy as the tax deadline approaches,” Combs said.  “Our franchise tax Web page offers a quicker answer to many frequently asked questions.”
