Texas Comptroller Susan Combs to Host
Kingsville Economic Summit

(AUSTIN) —Texas Comptroller Susan Combs will host a roundtable discussion in Kingsville on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 3:30 p.m. to meet with area business owners and chamber of commerce leaders during an economic summit. The event will take place at the Community Room of the Kleberg Bank, located at 100 E. Kleberg Ave. in Kingsville. The Comptroller, who will be introduced by Kingsville Mayor Sam Fugate, will discuss local success stories, the statewide economic outlook, special reports from the Comptroller’s office and important issues facing Texas businesses.

This economic summit offers a unique opportunity to interact with the Comptroller, ask questions and get direct answers about information that affects local government. Business, government, community and education leaders will get the latest information on the economy and databases and research tools the Comptroller’s office provides to assist local communities with economic development and revenue planning.
