Energy Conservation Plan

The Comptroller has long worked to minimize energy expenditures without compromising operations. The agency has had an active, aggressive plan for reducing energy expenditures for many years, as reflected in the biannual Resource Efficiency Plan (REP) and through the efforts of the agency’s State Energy Conservation Office (SECO).

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
